Matt Simons continues to fill the world with joy through his music.
The L.A based artist is following his string of hit singles with new music that is just what we need in 2020.
‘Better tomorrow’ is the latest single by the singer/songwriter which speaks about anxiety.
Matt returns in what has turned into an extraordinary year with his most infectious single yet.
“Around the age of 18, I had my first panic attack and went to the emergency room because I thought I was going to die.” He said.
“It’s an extremely lonely and helpless feeling when our brains turn on us and create the feeling of imminent danger when there really isn’t any there.”
The ‘We Can Do Better’ singer teamed up with Swedish Swedish virtuoso producer Hampus Lidvall.
Hampus has produced for the likes of Zara Larsson, Icona Pop, Sigala and more.
‘Better Tomorrow’ video was directed by VMA nominated Mercedes Bryce Morgan and was shot in LA under strict regulation due to COVID 19.
The choreographed dancers represent the voices in Matt’s head that play tricks with his mind.
It illustrates the themes in the song with Matt finally realising that all is not what it is in his head.
“I hope the song Better Tomorrow song can bring some comfort to those who also struggle with anxiety and mental health, especially during these unprecedented times.”
