South African Singer-songwriter, FILIPA has released a new track hoping to captivate South Africans all over again.

‘Do Something’ is the latest single for the South African born artist.

As always, in this track, she is apologetically honest about what she feels.

The song speaks about the confusion that one has when they like someone and expect them to ‘do something’.

The ‘Boys with Girlfriends’ singer has topped various radio charts in South Africa in recent years.

‘Little White Lie’ went to chart within the top 5 on the 5FM charts and Jacaranda FM’s top 20.

She also went to beat hundreds of people to win an international Ryan Seacrest singing competition.

This new catchy groove song ‘Do Something’ is inspired by platinum-selling songwriter, Pam Sheyne.

Pam is best known for Christina Aguilera’s global hit, ‘Genie in a Bottle’.

They have been making magic together for the past two years.

Filipa is also a Harvard University Extension School student graduating this year.
